Review - Covert Surveillance Workshops

One of our Sydney Workshops in 2008

The Australian School of Security and Investigations recently held two back-to-back Covert Surveillance workshops in Sydney and Surfers Paradise.

Both courses were again a great success with positive feedback from all participants.

We were especially pleased in the fact that on the Sydney workshop we had a mix of both experienced law enforcement investigators and absolute novices, however, over the three days these two groups became one and the final exercise was a credit to all.

Thanks again to Sue and Brendan for their professionalism and willingness to assist everyone during the course.

These workshops are specifically designed to appeal to every level of expertise. As mentioned, we had beginners and we had seasoned veterans who simply wanted to brush up on their skills.

It seems that just about anyone with a little knowledge of the investigations industry lectures on surveillance techniques these days, but lecturing and full hands-on practical learning are two completely different matters.

Our workshops are unique in their structure. We don't just teach you theory of surveillance, we get you out on the road, formulating plans, discussing techniques, implementing strategies and leading teams during actual surveillance operations.

Every participant received one-on-one instructions on up to date surveilance strategies by leaders in the field. Each person not only observed situations from his own point of view, but from the subjects point of view too. Split second decisions were being made in a team environment and all in all, the latest workshop was one of the most interesting and rewarding courses to be taken.

We'd like to tell you more, but then that would undermine the unique nauture of each workshop.

All I can say is great weather, ideal conditions and a brilliant team working together to acheive a great result

Brisbane started out like any of our courses with a group of strangers all wondering what they had got themselves into. It wasnt long though before everyone was fully ensconced in the days activities interacting and bouncing ideas off each other.

We started off as we usually do with the days theory and planning. The next two days were exhilirating as usual. Whilst we cannot give away what we actually do in detail for varying reasons, watching a group of strangers quickly turn into a well oiled and close knit surveillance team was nothing short of brilliant. An absolute credit to everyone who I know left the course feeling very proud of what they had achieved and so they should.

To everyone who participated I say thanks for your commitment and your friendship.

So where to next ? Due to the demand for courses we have announced courses in almost every capital city but you will need to be quick as places will fill quickly and can only be secured by way of a regisitration form and accompanying payment.
